What are the important BITSAT 2019 date?
Bits Pilani releases the exam schedule on its official website before the start of filling application forms. The application form will be available from the last week of December 2018 to March 2019. Below is the expected timeline for BITSAT-2019
-Deadline to apply for the test–> 2nd week of March 2019
-Last date to correct the the application form — one week after the last date to apply for the exam
-Test centre allotment –> 4rth week of March
-Candidates to book a test slot –> 4th week of March to 1st week of April
-Availability of hall tickets/admit card –> 2nd week of April to 2nd week of May
–BITSAT 2019 date of online test –> 2nd half of the month of May
-Application for admission with 12 standard mark –> 1st week of May till 3rd week of June
-Merit list –> 3rd week of June
What is the BITSAT 2019 eligibility criteria?
-The basic BITSAT 2019 eligibility is – candidate must have passed the examinations of class 12th,
-Candidates must have subjects syllabus and passed them from the recognized board,
-Candidate must have scored an aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the 12th boards,
-Must have secured at least 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the 12th boards,
The students who scores rank #1 in the central and state boards will be given direct admission to the course as per their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT 2019 score.
The students who passed 12th class examinations in the year 2017 or who currently enrolled in any Bit campuses are not eligible to apply for the BITSAT 2019.
What is the procedure to apply for BITSAT?
The application procedure starts in the last week of December or the first week of January. The procedure to fill the form is completely online. Though, it is quite a confusing task starting from filling the personal details, then upload the scanned image and signature to the payment of fees. The payment is different for female than male candidates and also for NRI candidates. You can fill the application fee through the debit/credit cards or the bank Challan.

When will be the admit card available?
It is mandatory for all candidates to keep their admit card with them during the exam as this is the hall ticket to get an entry in the centers. You can download the admit card from the official website in the month of April-May, 2019.
When will the exam be conducted?
Students who are seeking admissions to the engineering course through BITSAT, they have to appear in the exam conducted by BITS Pilani in the third week of May 2019. The exam will be conducted in online mode in the different centers organized by authorities. The exam will be held in two slots each day. The first slot is from 9 am. -12 noon and the other one is from 2 P. M. -5 P. M. The choice of choosing the slots fully depends on the candidate’s convenience and the availability. You should keep checking the official site on a regular basis to keep updated about the dates.
When will be the slot bookings start?
It is an important step for all the candidates to get their desired date and slot to appear in the exam. The slot booking starts in the last week of March and lasts in the first week of April 2019. You can choose your desired date and time slot online that will be offered by first come first serve. In case, if the candidate forgets to book a slot, then the institute self-offers a slot to them. To book the slots, you must fill the exam center, date and the time slot that you want.
What will be the exam pattern of BITSAT 2019?
The exam will be conducted online with a duration of 3 hours. The total questions in the exam will be 150 that divided into the sections of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English Proficiency, and Logical Reasoning. There is no time limit to solve each section differently. The questions are of objective type, in which three marks are credited for the right answer, and one mark is deducted for a wrong answer.
What is the syllabus of BITSAT 2019?
It is obvious that candidates have started their preparations to excel in the BITSAT 2019. The syllabus to crack the exam is no different from the syllabus of 11th and 12th class syllabus. This means that if you have well versed with the 11th and 12th class syllabus, then you need to solve the mock tests and BITSAT sample papers to get a good score in the exam.
What is the list of the cities where BITSAT will conduct?
The prestigious exam will be conducted in approx. 50 cities of India along with the International Centre in Dubai, UAE for the NRI candidates. A candidate can give preferences of maximum three cities of India. Those students who will appear in Dubai can only prefer one center.
When will the result of BITSAT declare?
The result of the BITSAT exam always appears in two parts. First, candidates must check their scores after the submission of their exam. The computer screen shows them their marks along with the number of correct and wrong answers. Second, the list of cutoff marks or admit list will display during June 2019, after which the admission procedure starts in the respective campuses. You can check your result on the official website when it will get declared.
