What is the date of the JEE-Advanced 2019?

The official date for the exam has not been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA is the regulator of JEE Advanced exam) yet, but the tentative date for the exam is likely to fall anywhere in the 3rd week of May 2019.JEE Advanced 2018 had below schedule.

-Candidates have to register in JEE Advanced portal.

-Certificates Required for the registration

1.Class X certificate
2.Class XII certificates
3. In case name not mentioned in class X certificates then the Gazette Notification
4. OBC-NCL certificate only if you fall in that category
5.SC/ST certificate as provided by GOI.
6. PwD category must show Physical Disability Certificate as issued by a notified medical authority
7. Candidates needing Scribe should produce the request letter to the Chairman of Respective zonal coordinating IIT
8. A candidate seeking admission under DS Category – certificate issued by a Directorate of Resettlement and rehabilitation
9.PIO/OCI card/certificate only if you are card holders

What are the eligibility criteria for the exam?

Age Limit:

-Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1994.
-Five years relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates. Their date of birth should be after October 1, 1988

Attempt Limits:

A candidate can take JEE Advanced maximum 2 times in consecutive years. Any student applying for the third time in consecutive years is not permitted to take the exam.
