Cut off Ranks in Colleges

You can get admission to B.Tech first year in a college affiliated to AKTU only if:-
– You passed the qualifying examination(10+2) with minimum 45% marks in aggregate,
– If you come from SC/ST category then minimum marks you need to score is 40% in aggregate
– If you are eligible for B.Tech then you are also eligible for B.Tech Agriculture

Once the UPSEE exam is over AKTU starts declaring dates for counselling procedure. Generally, four rounds of counselling are done to fill the seats. In case if seats are still, vacant then the Spot rounds of counselling is done. Here is the schedule of counselling Round 1.

Cut Off in any exam is the least marks required to get admission into a college. Hence in this section, we will put forth and discuss the Cut Off in UPSEE in the previous years. Basically, if a student scores more than the Cut Off marks he/she will get a call for counseling else he/she will not get a call.
Minimum percentage required to qualify in UPSEE
Expected Rank against marks scored
- The fees for Male/Transgender candidates of General and OBC candidate is –> Rs 1300/-
- The fees for Female/SC-ST/PH candidates of all category is –> Rs 650/-
- Students can apply to UPSEE-2019 online tentatively from 3rd week of January-19 till mid of March-19
- UPSEE will declare results in the first week of June
- Students are notified through advertisements in various newspapers and notification on the official UPSEE website. Counselling mostly starts in the last week of June.

The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam(UPSEE) is conducted, controlled as well as supervised by the Central Admission Board(CAB) which is headed by Vice-Chancellor of AKTU. The AKTU university is the official University of the most populous state in the country. A report published in Times of India on Aug 3, 2017, stated that AKTU(UPTU) has approximately 584 colleges affiliated to it. AKTU has not only conducted entrance exams successfully but also CAB in AKTU has managed the affairs diligently. Moreover, approx. 1.5 lakh students participated in UPSEE every year. While there are 584 colleges affiliated to the AKTU there are some very good institutes such as IET, Lucknow. The article talks about syllabus, pattern, result, upsee counselling. The race to UPSEE 2019 will come to an end by the month of May however race to UPSEE 2020 is already started. The students who are not eligible for UPSEE 2019 can keep a close eye on the sequence of events and analyze the paper, pattern and various different nitty-gritty of the UPSEE 2019 version so that they can prepare better for UPSEE 2020. Though there is more than a years time for UPSEE 2020 but for the preparation and scoring a good rank a year is not sufficient. Hence keep a close eye and start the preparation for UPSEE 2020. This is the right time to pick up the correct books and work hard. However, it is never too late and there is ample time to bounce back in if you have not started the preparation for the next version of the test yet.
